📨 Taylor Swift’s Eras tour and Earth rising temperatures | Weekly digest: 30 2023
The automated system | Do you have concrete AI policies at your company? | Leveraging artificial intelligence for business and society
Hello friends,
While Taylor Swift’s Eras tour is not only propping up the economy, it’s also making the Earth move. Her dancing fans at a pair of Seattle show last weekend created seismic activity equivalent to a 2.3-magnitude earthquake, according to measurements by seismologist Jackie Caplan-Auerbach.
This doesn’t help us reduce Earth's rising temperatures.
Humans naturally look to water for a chance to refresh, but water temperatures get higher every summer.
Actually, I’m not convinced we can literally “decrease” Earth's rising temperatures. Still, I’m convinced companies can take responsibility and arrange some canvas to help the world better organize itself and be more “future-proof” ready.
